Sue Lindsey Crabtree, 99, passed away February 3, 2014, at Magnolia Health and Rehab. She was born November 27, 1914, near Waldo, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Crabtree; her parents, Offie and Ether (Hinshaw) Lindsey; her two sisters, Opal Smith and Estelle Adams, and her son-in-law, J.C. Gunnels. She is survived by one son, Sammy (Mary) Crabtree of Magnolia, Arkansas; one daughter, Shirley Gunnels of Little Rock, formerly of Crossett, Arkansas; and one son, Kenneth Dale (Yolanda) Lindsey, Bossier City, Louisiana. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Barry (Melissa) Crabtree, Magnolia; Karen (Paul) Lively, Magnolia; Carla (Tim) Spainhour, Little Rock; Kendra (Chris) Blankers, Springdale; Reba and Rusty Lindsey, Bossier City; and nine great-grandchildren, Mason Crabtree, Erica Turnage, Emily Kendrick, Preston, Caroline and Wilson Spainhour, and Gerrit, Cole and Lille Blankers. She was the oldest living member of Bradley Methodist Church where she taught Children's Sunday School for years. She loved life and people, never met a stranger and until the last nine years was involved in her church and the Bradley community. She was blessed with good health for many years and worked until she was 75 years of age as a retail clerk and sitter for elderly people. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2014, at Bradley Methodist Church with visitation prior to service from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery under the direction of A.O.
