Rita Ann Holland

Rita Ann Holland, 76, of Alexander passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. She was born February 21, 1937 in Arizona to the late William and Hazel North Howard. Rita was a member of the Hwy. 5 Baptist Church in Alexander. She graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1954 and retired from Farm Bureau after 30 years. She most recently was working as a receptionist for Arkansas Physicians Management, Inc. In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Holland in 2008 and one sister, Norma Hitt. Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Steve Holland of Bryant; her granddaughter, Leia Holland; two great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Jonah; two sisters, Peggy Wright of Jacksonville and Carolyn Rooks of Indiana; one brother, Bill Howard of Jacksonville; many nieces and nephews; and her friends and coworkers from Farm Bureau and Arkansas Physicians Management Inc. Visitation will be Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Pastor Steve Hudson officiating.
