Willie Mae May

Willie Mae May, 71, of Sweet Home, died January 16, 2014. Born February 14, 1942 at Little Rock, she was the daughter of Willie and Ruth Walters Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Ivory May, Sr. and her brother, Johnny Gilbert. Survivors are her children, James Ivory May, Jr., Jamesetta I. May, and Tammy Thorpe, 5 sisters, 14 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, January 20th in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock (501) 661-9111 with Rev. Larry Staggers officiating.
