Thomas Wayne Stacks, 70, of Center Ridge, Ark. was called home June 14, 2014. He was born Feb. 20, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to the late Horace and Bertha White Stacks. Thomas was also preceded in death by his brother, Chester. He was surrounded by those he loved until he drew his last breath. Thomas was of the Baptist faith and a retired farmer who loved his family as hard as he worked and always put God and others first over himself. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to ride his horse. When he wasn't hard at work or spending time with his family, you could find him in one of three places, his favorite spot on the Arkansas river, his deer stand, or riding the trails on his four wheeler. Thomas was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, who loved his kids, grand-kids and great-grand kids very much. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Luvada; sons, Richard Stacks (Amy) of Cabot, Ark. and Tommy J. Stacks (Jinnie) of Perryville, Ark.; daughters, Liz Pruitt (Randy) of Romance, Ark. and Mary Gray (Mike) of Rosebud, Ark.; sisters, Ruth Simms and Dorothy Panoe both of Heber Springs, Ark.; 12 grand-kids; and three great-grand kids; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a gathering at his home on June 15, 2014 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Thomas Stacks Memorial Fund at Home Bank of Arkansas in Center Ridge. Cremation arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier (501) 679-2575. Online guest book:www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
