Claudine Riggins Morgan

Claudine Riggins Morgan, 100, died in Dallas, Texas, June 20, 2014. She was born in Stamps, Arkansas and raised in Buckner, Arkansas. She graduated from Magnolia A and M, and Henderson State Teachers College. She received her Masters' Degree in Natural Science from The University of Arkansas. After teaching in Stephens and Magnolia, Arkansas for 15 years Claudine moved to Dallas, Texas in 1957 where she was a Biology teacher until her retirement in 1984. She traveled extensively to unique biological habitats in Galapagos Islands, Ecuador, Argentina and Antarctica. Claudine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold Morgan, formerly of Stephens, Ark., her sister, Dot Landes of Magnolia and her brother Col. Jack Riggins of Jonesboro Ark. She is survived by her sister, Francille Seymour and brother, Bill Riggins and his wife, Gloria, all of Hot Springs. She is also survived by three sons and their wives; four grandsons and four great-grandchildren. Burial will be at a later date at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps, Arkansas.
