George Patrick Foley, 79, of Russellville, formerly of North Little Rock, passed away on June 24, 2014 at Legacy Heights Nursing Center in Russellville. He was born on November 12, 1934 to Samuel Joseph and Lila Arcola Weeks Foley at Little Rock and he attended Central High School. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving as a Flight Engineer on the Lockheed C-130. Following his 22 year military career, he worked as an Investigator for Pulaski County District Attorney's Office, retiring in 1996. With a heart for the lost, he was a lay minister of music with the Full Gospel Church. He was preceded in death by Son, Timothy Sean Foley. George is survived by his loving spouse Betha; two daughters, Patricia S. Jackson of Russellville, Cynthia Kathleen Foley of Mountain View; two sons, George Patrick Foley Jr. of Cave City, Russell Joseph Foley of Mountain View; two Grandsons, Joseph Colter Paulman of Russellville, Claye Foley of London, England; two Granddaughters, Kasaiha Foley of Batesville, Mariah Foley of Melbourne; great-granddaughter, Hadley Brooke. A memorial graveside service will be held at Baker's Creek Cemetery in Russellville on November 12, 2014 under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service of Russellville. Full military honors will be provided by the Honors Team of the U.S. Air Force at Jacksonville Air Force Base. Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
