Cecil D. Smith April 6, 1959 – November 10, 2014. Cecil was an active member of Forest Tower Baptist Church, and is now resting with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, W.L. Smith and June Smith, his two brothers, Tommy and Tim Smith and his grandson Bryson Runshe. Cecil was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was employed by Tri-State Truck Center, where he worked as a Master Diesel Mechanic. Cecil was a jack-of-all-trades who could do just about anything, and didn't hesitate to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a hardworking, honest, loving and forgiving man. His smile and sense of humor are irreplaceable and will be truly missed by many. Cecil is survived by his wife, Jennifer Smith, his children, Amber Smith, Brandon Smith, and Sarah Runshe, and his sister Judy Ticer. He was the proud grandfather of five grandchildren, Austin, Kaleigh, Lauren, Drake and Carson. Cecil also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Even though this is a trying and difficult time, we know that Cecil is now in a better place and will be watching over each and every one of us from his eternal place in heaven. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th from 6-8 p.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, Ark.
