Lou Adams, 80, of Russellville, died Monday, November 3, 2014 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. The daughter of Noel and Maxine VanDover, she was born November 24, 1933 in Plainview. She was a graduate of Plainview-Rover High School, Arkansas Tech University and the University of Arkansas, majoring in Home Economics. Lou and Travis Adams were married on August 28, 1955. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Travis Adams of Russellville; son, Andy Adams (Chanda) of Little Rock; daughter, Anna Adams (Randy Crowell) of Shawnee, Kansas; two grandchildren, Maggie and Emma and two step-grandchildren, Levi and Ava Crowell. She was preceded in death by her parents, three aunts and uncles. Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Monday, November 24, 2014 at First United Methodist Church under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Rev. Gail Brooks and Rev. Roy Smith will officiate. Burial was at Sandlin Cemetery in Ola. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home, 2405 E.
