Viola Mae Wingard May

Viola Mae Wingard May, 82, of Sheridan, passed away Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014. Born Oct. 8, 1931 at Elyria, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Clifton Wingard and Viola Valentine Smith Wingard. Mrs. May was a homemaker and a member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church.She was fun loving, adventurous and young at heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Doyle "D.G." May; son, David May; and a granddaughter, Ashley May. Mrs. May is survived by her sons, Gerald May (Sherry), and Jeff May (Ann); three grandchildren, Laura, Wes, and Sydney; five great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
