Virginia K. Camarata, 93, of Russellville, died Thursday, September 4, 2014, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. She was born July 27, 1921, in Knoxville, Arkansas, to Audrey E. and Ocie Smith Ketcheside. She was the owner and operator of Virginia's Beauty Shop, and was a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church in Russellville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Boyce Rhea and James Camarata; a daughter-in-law, Susan Rhea; a granddaughter, Lori Grimes; and five brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Dick Goodman of Russellville; a son, Rawn Rhea of Russellville; a step-son and his wife, James and Donna Camarata of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee; a brother, Audrey "Joe" Ketcheside of Russellville; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her deeply. The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Tom Walker. Burial in Oakland Cemetery will be private, and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. The family will receive friends in the chapel immediately following the memorial service.
