Howard Ray Cox

Howard Ray Cox, age 78, of Sherwood, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in North Little Rock. He was born March 18, 1937 in Corning, Arkansas to the late William and Sarah Cox. Mr. Cox served in the U.S Air Force for over 22 years. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Verna Mae and Leroy Romine; brother, Billy Wayne Cox; sister, Geraldine Cox. He is survived by four children; Chuck (Ellen) Howland of Hot Springs, Jeffery Cox of Jacksonville, Steven (Toni) Cox of Cabot, Lt. Colonel (Ret.) Shari Lynn Corbett of San Jose, Californai; two grandchildren, Sara and Ashlea Cox; sister in law, Royce Jean Cox of Risco, Missouri. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. Thursday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock with Mark Chaney officiating.
