Joseph Eugene Smith

Joseph Eugene Smith, 90 of Springdale passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born August 29, 1924 in Galesburg, Illinois to Jesse and Mary Dwyer Smith. Joseph worked in the Maintenance Department at Zero Mountain in Johnson. He served honorably in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He retired as a Tech Sergeant. He enjoyed visiting with friends at the Gardens at Arkanshire. He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Smith and all of his brothers and sisters. Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Smith of Springdale; and one stepdaughter, Carol Foster of Reno, Nevada. Memorial services will be Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Bill Pritchard officiating. Online condolences can be left at www.siscofuneral.com.
