Larry "Chief" Curry

Larry "Chief" Curry, age 75, of Warren, Ark. died Saturday, August 15 at the Bradley County Medical Center. He was born July 28, 1940 in Monticello, Ark. a son of the late Arthur Curry and Janie Roberson Curry. He was retired from Potlatch Lumber Company with 45 years of service working as a saw filer, he attended Immanuel Baptist Church and served in the Army National Guard. Chief's favorite things to do were his fast cars and spending many a happy day with Vickie riding in there Jett Boats and going fast on the Ouachita River. He is survived by his wife Vickie West Curry, whom he married March 30, 1990 in Warren, Ark.; two sons, Jody Reep and spouse Amy, Eldorado, Ark. and Jeremy Reep and spouse Amanda, Warren, Ark.; a mother-in-law Bessie D. West, Warren, Ark.; two brothers-in-law, Jerry West and spouse Judy, Warren, Ark. and Tim West and spouse Amanda, Warren, Ark.; five grandchildren, McKenzie and Jay Cooper Reep, Eldorado, Ark. and Austin and Anna Lee Heranney and Ren Reep all of Warren, Ark.; a niece Jay Hembree and spouse Bo, Warren, Ark.; two nephews Justin West and spouse Tricia, Warren, Ark. and Tyler West, Little Rock, Ark.; one great-niece and four great-nephews. Chiefy leaves behind cousins and very special friends he loved dearly. A celebration of life will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, August 16 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Visitation 2 p.m. till service time Sunday at Immanuel Baptist Church. Memorials preferred Life Touch Hospice in Eldorado, Ark. or a charity of your choice.
