Billy F. Arnett, 82, of Bee Branch, Arkansas went to be with our Savior early on the morning of Dec 20th, 2015 while being treated at the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on April 5, 1933, Bill was raised in Naylor, Arkansas by Kyle B. and Gladys Arnett. In addition to being a farmer and heavy equipment operator, Bill was a distinguished Korean War Veteran having been awarded the Purple Heart for the loss of his leg in the line of duty. He was humble about his military service never talking up the courageous sacrifice he made for our country. Bill married Connie (Bryant) Arnett on September 2, 1987 celebrating 28 years as husband and wife. Bill and Connie had seven children and eight grandchildren. Surviving children are: Daughter Linda (David) Price of Vilonia; Steve (Donna) Jordan of Bee Branch; Jerry Arnett of Conway; Karen McKee of North Little Rock; and Scott Arnett of Allen, Texas. Two children preceded Bill in death: Johnny Arnett of Mayflower and Deborah Rogers of Center Ridge. Bill was also survived by brother Larry (Kathlyn) Arnett along with three other siblings. He was preceded in death by brothers Howard (Virginia) Arnett and John B. (Bert) Arnett. Bill's family and friends will sorely miss him. He lived an honest life always striving to do the right thing by everyone. He was very generous with his time always willing to help anyone he knew with anything they needed. Visitation with the family is scheduled for Tuesday Dec 22nd from 6-8 p.m. at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Dec 23rd in the same location followed by a very brief prayer and grave dedication at Halbrook Cemetery just off Highway 9 in Center Ridge, Arkansas near the community of Austin.
