Peggie Chism

Peggie Chism, age 68, of Lexa, Ark. passed away at her home Monday, Dec. 21, 2015. Mrs. Chism was born Aug. 23, 1947 at Augusta, Ark. to the late Billie Mac and Louise Butler. She was a member of Lexa Baptist Church and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Carl "Eddie" Chism; three daughters, Karla Chisnall (Phillip Martinez) of Helena, Alana Broome (Austin) of Cabot and Sarah Privett (Justin) of Bald Knob; nine grandchildren, Lauren, Kanen, Makia, Alex, Brodie, Draden, Alia, Preslie and Kelsie Beth; three great-grandchildren, Zoie-Jaine, Ryder and Juliee; two sisters, Suzy Koski (Joe) of Hoover, Alabama and Dianne Karr of Lexa; two brothers, Andy Butler (Linda) of Covington, Louisiana and David Butler (Nina) of Cabot; mother-in-law, Aileen Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and special companion, Sasha. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service for Peggie Chism will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at Lexa Baptist Church. Brother Tommy Jacobs will officiate.
