George McCoy Cusick III

George McCoy Cusick III, 60, of Springdale, Ark., passed away at Washington Regional on Feb. 13, 2015. George was born on May 8, 1954 in Galveston, Texas to George and Dorothy Cusick. On Feb. 24, 1996, he was united in marriage to Gracie Cusick. He loved his animals – his ducks, turtles, and especially his furry four-legged daughters, Sweetie and Maggie. George enjoyed cabin weekends at Eureka Springs with Gracie. In his younger years, he had a passion for surfing. For years, he was a general manager for several restaurants. For the past several years, he owned and operated a commercial cleaning business. He loved to cook, and many family and friends enjoyed his wonderful meals. He was a member of New Hope Fellowship in Springdale. George is survived by his wife, Gracie; his parents, George M. Cusick Jr and Dorothy Cusick; his sister, Marlene Burks and husband Cliff; his brother, Kenneth Cusick and wife Donna; and another sister, Lorre Cusick; nieces and nephews and one great niece and one great nephew. A celebration of life service will be held at New Hope Fellowship on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 at 2 p.m., located at 850 S. 56th St, Springdale, Ark.
