MANDI LEE WHEELER, age 39, of the East End Community, Hensley, Ark. entered the arms of Jesus after a very brief illness on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015. She was born Oct. 11, 1975 at the United States Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay Cuba. She graduated from Sheridan High School and worked at Southwest Hospital in food services and at Dillard's Distribution Center, before becoming a full time wife and mother. Mandi had a kind heart. She was a very sweet and loving daughter, wife and mother. She loved all animals and took in any strays that she found. She was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and was looking forward to the playoff game and the Cowboys being in the Super Bowl. Mandi is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dorothy G. Brock and Robert and Juanita Bailey and her favorite and very much missed uncle, Robert Duane Rinehart. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Alonzo Lee Wheeler, she was the most loving, caring mom in the world to her two children, Anthony and Alisha Wheeler; her mother, Daryl B. Bailey of East End Community; her father, Lee Warren Bailey (Karen) of Maumelle; brother, Justin Earl Bailey of Ico, Ark.; grandfather, Earl S. Brock Sr., East End; uncle and aunt, Earl S. Brock Jr. and wife, Debbie, Adrian, Michigan; aunt, Catherine B. Rinehart, East End; father and mother-in-law, Dickie and Carol Wheeler of Alexander and a host of family and friends that will love and miss her dearly. Church services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2 p.m. Monday, with Paul Roberts officiating at East Union Baptist Church in East End. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in East End. Visitation will 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. before services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Saline County, P.O. Box 305, Benton, AR 72018.
