Deloise Posey

Deloise Posey 77, of Shirley, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015. She was born September 28, 1937 in Malvern, Arkansas to Rufes and Effie (Ray) Jones. She graduated from Malvern High School in 1955. She was a homemaker. She also worked in childcare for 25 plus years. It was not just a job; she loved the children as if they were her own and enthusiastically pouring her nurturing love and patient teaching method into the molding of each child that she came in contact with. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and friends, and the most important to her; she had a strong committed faith in Jesus Christ her Savior. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Billy Jones, brother, Elbert Jones, sister, Martha (Jones) Wallace, sister, Mary (Jones) Roach. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Otis Posey, son, Daniel Posey, son, Timothy Posey, daughter, Karen Posey, brother, Charles Jones of Lono, Ark.; brother David Jones of Malvern, Ark.; brother, Roger Jones of Rolla, Ark.; brother Richard Jones of Malvern, Ark.; many nieces and nephews, and more friends than can be counted. Pallbearers: Walt Petersen, Desmond Champagne, Randy Hazlewood, Lynn Lasley, Josh Azar, and John Swofford. Honorary Pallbearers: Bob Hensley and Robert Johnson. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 and Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas.
