Jimmy Cloise Davis

Jimmy Cloise Davis, 80-year-old resident of Springdale, Ark., died Jan. 22, 2015 at his home. Born Sept. 26, 1934 in Alpena, Ark., he was the son of Albert Davis and Carrie Goodman Davis. Jimmy married Juanita Laswell in Stilwell, Okla. on Aug. 4, 1957. He worked as a machine operator for EPC in Fayetteville for many years. Jimmy was an Army Veteran and a member of Faith Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Carl Davis. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Davis; one son, Bobby Davis of Springdale; two grandsons, Jimmy Dean Davis and wife, Maria of Centerton, Ark. and Gregory Davis and wife, Patricia of Lowell, Ark.; six great-grandchildren, Clayton Davis, Marissa Arnold, Kaitlynn Davis, Dakota Windenburg, Lillian Davis and Ashlynn Davis; two brothers, Rex Davis of Elm Springs, Ark. and Henry Davis of Landson, Mich. and one sister, Shirley Brown. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 at Faith Freewill Baptist Church, Springdale, with Pastor Stacey Villines officiating. Burial will follow at Sonora Cemetery, Sonora, Ark. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 at Faith Freewill Baptist Church before the service. To sign the online guestbook, visit www.wassonfuneralhome.com.
