Milo McKenzie

Milo McKenzie, 86, of Bentonville, Arkansas, died January 25, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. Born August 4, 1928 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he was the son of Lorene Matthews. Milo and Maxine Smith were married in 1950. They moved to Gravette area in 1965, and have lived in the area ever since. He was a truck driver for Chief Freight Lines. Milo was instrumental in starting the bus ministry at First Baptist Church, Gravette, Arkansas. He was an avid gardener. He was preceded in death by his parent, one sister and one daughter. Survivors include his wife, Maxine of the home; sons, Danny McKenzie and wife Cathy of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Steve McKenzie and wife Nancy of West Fork, Arkansas; daughters, Joni Aurand and Mike of Sayre, Oklahoma and Kathy Riley and husband Frank of Bentonville, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Lacey, Hannah, Karen, Sean, Mollie, Chris, Kyle and Kendall; seven great-grandchildren MacKenzie, Ava, Keggin, Zakari, Jolie, Addison and Landon; brothers James Eash of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Deril Eash of Bixby, Oklahoma. Graveside service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery, Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
