Donald A. Kemp

Donald A. Kemp, 75, of Royal, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 4, 2015. He was born June 21, 1940 in Hot Springs to Clarence and Dovie (Kinsey) Kemp. He pastored Social Hill Missionary Baptist Church for over 20 years. He is predeceased by his parents; wife of 51 years, Patsy Ann Kemp; son, Donald Timothy Kemp; and brother, Douglas Kemp. Loving survivors include daughters, Melody (Donnie) Lewis and Cindy (Fred) Scheu, all of Royal; son, Donald (Sarah) Kemp of Little Rock; grandchildren: Melissa Neighbors, Kristen Windham, Courtney and Joshua Scheu, Warren, Devin, Karina and Ryan; and three great-grandchildren: Timothy, Colton and Addyson. Pallbearers are Charlie Yates, Colton Yates, Clifton Daley, Terry Mark Sutherland, Jimmy Daley and Drew Jackson. Honorary Pallbearers are Grady Cass, Kenny Simpson, Dr. Hunter Carrington and Staff, and the Albert Pike Walmart Pharmacy Staff. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00, Tuesday at the funeral home with Brother Donnie Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Cunningham Cemetery. Guests may register at www.caruth-hale.com.
