McKayla Dianne Strobel

McKayla Dianne Strobel, 16 of Springdale, Ark., passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born February 24, 1999 in Fayetteville, Ark. to Chris Strobel and Mary Ann (Fenner) Strobel. She is preceded in death by her mom, Mary Ann, and by her cousin, Asia Mangham. She is survived by her father Chris, one brother; Kage Strobel of the home, paternal grandfather; Kim Strobel and wife Mary Ann of Gravette, Ark., paternal grandmother; Kim Griffin of Aptos, Calif., and her maternal grandmother; Dianne Gandert of Springdale, Ark. McKayla was a sophomore at Springdale High School. She was a talented artist, avid animal lover, and had a deep passion for music. McKayla's infectious smile and generous spirit will be deeply missed by her large circle of family and friends. It brings great pride and peace to the hearts of her family that her memory will live on through her generous gift of organ donation. A celebration of McKayla's life will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday June 3rd in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend Don George officiating.
