Melton E. Holt, Jr.

Melton E. Holt, Jr., 72, of Marion, Ark., died Friday, June 5, 2015 at his home in Marion. Mr. Holt was a member of the Marion United Methodist Church; he served as Crittenden County Tax Collector for 26 years then as County Judge for 12 years. He is survived by his wife, Martha Houchin Holt of Marion, Ark.; a daughter, Heather Holt of Marion, Ark.; a son, Bert Holt of Marion, Ark.; a sister, Marjorie Holt of Fairbanks, Alaska; a brother, Peter Holt of Earle, Ark.; two grandchildren, Myles and Urban; two nephews, Nelson Holt and Kiely Koeppen. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till service time at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Marion United Methodist Church in Marion, Ark. with burial following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Ark.
