Francis Largent

FRANCIS LARGENT, age 71, of Alexander, passed away on June 24, 2015 in North Little Rock. He was born in Nashville, Ark., on July 27, 1943; he was the son of Leroy Largent and Gladys Lines. Francis was a resident of the Alexander Human Development Center and Pathfinder Group Home for over 40 years. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and Knights of Columbus. Francis was also a devout Catholic and attended St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Little Rock; he enjoyed leather crafts and was an avid collector of many things, including Native American artifacts. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Sammy Largent. Survivors include his close friends, John Rhodes, Susan Watkins and Dyann Flowers. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in North Little Rock, with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Theresa's, Knights of Columbus or your favorite charity. Special thanks to the staff of Lakewood Rehab for their exceptional care of Francis during his stay, he was loved by many. Arrangements are by Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
