Donald Edward Egelhoff

Donald Edward Egelhoff, 72 years, of Mayflower, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015. He was born Feb. 13, 1943, in St. Joseph, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; three daughters; two step-daughters; one step-son; and 13 grandchildren. Don was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. A former U.S. Marine, he served two tours in Vietnam and earned two Purple Hearts and several other recognitions for honorable service. He retired from the Jacksonville Police Department and was in law enforcement for 27 years. A celebration of his life will be Thursday, March 5 at Mayflower United Pentecostal Church, 24 Center St., Mayflower, Ark. at 10 a.m. Arrangements by Bishop-Crites Funeral Home of Greenbrier.
