Ola Jean Lewis

Ola Jean Lewis, 91, a resident of Springdale, passed away Feb. 27, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born June 27, 1924 in Danville, Ark., the daughter of George Elmer and Myrtle Brandon Walters. Jean had worked as a cook at the Prairie Grove Schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prairie Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Lewis, eight brothers, and three sisters. Survivors include her three sons and their wives: William and Regina Lewis, Richard and Sandra Lewis, and Michael and Loyce Lewis; her seven granddaughters: Angela Woodward, Rebecca Marietta, Lisa Hill, Tara Hodge, Sara Toombs, Jessica Lewis, and Brooke Sims; and numerous great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.
