Joining Saint Francis to protect all animals, THEIDA MARIE (KRATZ) MOSLEY passed away on Feb. 28. As a co-founder of Chenal Pet Palace and Arkansas Pet Resort, her love of furry friends will be remembered and celebrated both here and beyond. Born Dec. 4, 1953 in Malvern, Ark. to Fred Lewis Kratz and Opal Azalene (Hohrine) Kratz, she was the youngest of five siblings (Hollis, Emerson, Lewis, Wilma Kemp, and Steve). Moving to Little Rock after graduating from Malvern High School, she met her true love, James Steven Mosley. After a fateful date in 1976, they married shortly after and soon started their family: Ashley Marie Mosley Trentham, Crystal Brooke Mosley Allen, and Steven Austin Mosley. While her children were certainly the focus of her life, she and Steve also continued to build the businesses of National Medical Rentals, Capitol City Auctions, and most recently their passion of pets. She extended her love of travel to her children, her children's spouses (Adam Trentham, Seth Allen, and Sara (Harper) Mosley), and her grandchildren (Caiden Allen, Savannah Allen, Paxton Mosley, Millie Allen, and Paisley Mosley). Friends and family are welcome to celebrate Theida's life at her home, Wye Mountain, on Saturday, March 7 between noon and 4 p.m. After having battled colon cancer for over a year, Theida encourages your gift to be that of maintaining your personal health through yearly physicals. In lieu of flowers and other gifts, you may also donate in Theida's memory to Wishing Well for Paws of Conway, Ark. at 59 Bluebird Lane. Online guest book at www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
