Geraldine Aaron Ford

Geraldine (Jeri) Aaron Ford, 74, of Springdale went to be with the Lord March 2, 2015 in Springdale, Ark. She was born December 20, 1940 in Hallsville, Texas to Lee and Era Lorene Aaron. Mrs. Ford graduated high school in 1959 in Hallsville, Texas. She went on to earn a Bachelor's degree at East Texas Baptist University in 1963 and a Master's degree in English at the UofA in Fayetteville. Mrs. Ford loved teaching but her heart belonged to her husband and raising their children and grandchildren. She loved the Lord and had a heart for missions. She served her church faithfully as a children's church leader and a Sunday school teacher for many years. She is survived by her children, Derek and wife, Shani; David and wife, Misty; Becky, and husband Mark; Tim and wife, Daniella; John and wife, Charity; and grandchildren Chandler, Austin, Cameron, Ashley, Ethan, Addison, Payton, Matthew, Alyssa, Natalie, Tristen, Erica, Brooklyn, and Carson. She was preceded in death by her parents; and loving husband, Jerry D. Ford. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Ridgeview Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Derek Ford, David Ford, Tim Ford, John Ford, Mark McCann, Chandler Ford, Austin Ford and Cameron Ford. Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan Ford, Matthew McCann and Tristen Ford.
