Lev W Willey, Jr., of Springdale, died March 5, 2015 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. He was born Feb. 20, 1932 in Havelock, Iowa, the son of Lev W. and Laura (Hunnel) Willey. He moved with his family to Gainesville, Mio. and then to Springdale, Ark. At 18, he joined the Army and served in the Korean War. Upon his discharge he moved to California where he trained as a barber. He married Janis Wheeler on Sept. 26, 1958 and later in 1963 moved to Springdale where he had rental property as well as his own barber shop. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Janis; a son, Lev W Willey, III and his special friend, Tonda, and his sons, Lev IV and Austin; a son, Mark Willey and his wife Marilyn and their son Matthew; a daughte,r Laura Brinza, her husband Dave and their daughters, Brittany and Kaitlyn; a sister, Betty Davis; a sister, Doris Hargrove and her family; and a niece, Christine Bean. Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Elm Springs Cemetery with Rev. Jim Keith officiating. Visitation will be Monday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Memorial donations may be made to Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 E. Longview, Fayetteville, Ark. 72703.
