Peggy Ruth Murrell Raymer, age 88, of Warren, Ark., died on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Briarwood Nursing and Rehab Center, Little Rock, Ark. She was born Sept. 14, 1926, in Warren, Ark., a daughter of the late Daniel Earl and Verda Bea Ferguson. Peggy was the wife of a cattle rancher for over 60 years, member of Warren First United Methodist Church where she was an active member of the UMW Circle and Sunday School class. She belonged to the Home Extension Club, Quilting Circle, and local and state DAV wives organizations. Preceding her in death was her husband, Corbert Murrell, who died April 1, 2005. Peggy married Harold Raymer in 2006 who died in 2014. Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Pauline Darling Gilliam and Mary Jo Norwood and her son-in-law, Timothy Dale Williams. Survivors are her daughters, Dana Quay Moseley (David), Russellville, Ark., Ruth Ann Williams, Conway, Ark.; stepsons: Glynn Raymer (Shirley) Garland, Texas, Bob Raymer (Marilyn) Sherwood, Ark., Dr. Paul Raymer (Cathy), Milner, Ga.; granddaughters: Alana Moseley Graham (Taylor), Cabot, Ark.; Sarah Meghan Williams Mathis,(Shawn), Greenbrier, Ark.; Ann-Elizabeth Williams Wehrle, (Scott), Eulenbis, Germany; great-grandsons: Samuel David Graham, John Mark Mathis, Jacob Mathis, and Jeb Mathis. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 31 at Frazer Funeral Home, Warren, Ark. Burial at Wheeler Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Frazer Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Warren, Ark., Bradley County Veteran's Museum in Warren, Ark., or a local Humane Society.
