Anne Kari Guetzlaff Hollis, 54, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at her home. Anne was born on January 2, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Dayton, Ohio, with her parents, Gordon James and Dorothy Anne (Culbertson) Guetzlaff. Following her dad's career, she lived in Oakland, Calif. and Columbia, Mo. before settling in Russellville in 1973 where her dad was a professor at Arkansas Tech University. Anne graduated from Russellville High School in 1978 and Arkansas Tech University in 1984 with a Bachelor's of Business Administration. On October 24, 1981 she married Mack Hollis of Pine Bluff. They made their home and raised their family in Russellville. Anne was an accomplished musician who enjoyed playing the piano, flute and piccolo. She worked as a photographer for the Courier in Russellville for ten years and was a substitute teacher for the Russellville School District while her children were growing up. Anne loved spending time with and taking care of her family, friends and pets. She loved the outdoors, reading, cooking and traveling. She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon J. Guetzlaff. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Mack Hollis of Russellville; daughter, Mary Lauren Wilson and husband, Alex, of Los Angeles, Calif.; son, Cal Park Hollis, II of Fayetteville; mother, Dorothy C. Guetzlaff of Russellville; brother, John Guetzlaff and wife, Susan of Booneville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Russellville. Reverend Darrell Kobs will officiate. Burial will be private at Rest Haven Memorial Park by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be immediately following the service on Tuesday at the church.
