Wayne Casey, 70, of Avoca, formally of Pea Ridge, died Sunday May 3, at his home. He was born September 3, 1944, at Wayton, Arkansas, to Bynum Tom Casey and Virgie Ruby Snow Casey. He was a cabinet maker, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of Pea Ridge Freewill Baptist Church where he also served as a Deacon and song leader. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Barbara Casey; two brothers, Berlin Casey and James Casey; and one sister, Arvella Barnard. Survivors are his wife Linda Terry Casey, who he married April 5, 2008, at Pea Ridge; a son Mark Casey and Teresa of Stockton, Missouri; a daughter, Delena Roughton and Michel of Fayetteville; three step-sons, Ricky Tacker and Regina of Cleveland, Tennessee, Kevin Tacker and Terry of Springdale, Jimmy Tacker and Vicki of Huntsville; a step-daughter, Deborah Hamilton and Billy of Garfield; two brothers, Ray Casey of Avoca, and Earl Casey of Rogers; two sisters, Gladys Steelman of Granite City, Illinois, and Alta Barnard of Avoca; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral is set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, at Pea Ridge Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation is set for 10-11 a.m. before the service. Burial will be at Twelve Corners Cemetery.
