Jo Ann Sandefur Heinrich

Jo Ann Sandefur Heinrich of Springdale, Ark. passed away on May 14, 2015 at the age of 76. She was a resident of Morningside of Springdale assisted living for 6 1/2 years. She was born on September 27, 1938 in Cheneyville, La. to Eldridge Hugh and Claudia Sandefur. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband of 51 years Guy W. Heinrich (2009), son Steven Heinrich (1999), brother James "Jimmy" Sandefur (1993), and sister Sandra Young (2005). She is survived by her daughter Ann Heinrich of Ft. Worth, Texas, son Craig Heinrich of Fayetteville, Ark., grandson James Heinrich of Yardley, Pa., granddaughter Catherine Heinrich of Tulsa, Okla., brother and sister-in law Eldridge "Sandy" and Diane Sandefur of Bossier City, La., sister-in-law Rose Sandefur of Avinger, Texas, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was a retired interior decorator and owned a wallpaper business for several years. Her loves were knitting and crocheting, genealogy, her pet parrot Caymen, watching and feeding wild birds, and talking about all of her wonderful memories growing up in Louisiana. Services and internment will be held at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery in Shreveport, La., with viewing beginning at 1 p.m. and services beginning at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2015. Donations can be made on her behalf to either the National Kidney Foundation or the Scoliosis Research Society.
