Jesse Wendell James

Jesse James, 73, of Pangburn, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 20, 2015. He was born at home July 7, 1941 to the late Jack and Ruth James in Pangburn. Jesse attended and was a graduate of the Pangburn School District. After graduating high school, he moved to Little Rock and became a dental technician. Later on, Jesse moved back to Pangburn where he then was employed on the pipeline and driving trucks across the country. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time in the woods. He is survived by his children, Jimmi Lynne (Verl) Hayes of Eupora, Mississippi and Joe James of Searcy; two grandchildren: Daniel James Hayes and Jessica James; two brothers: Frank James and Jerry James; three sisters: Kathy Williams, Jackie Lawson, and Frances Oakes; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Heber Springs Funeral Home.
