Louis Francis Frasca

Louis Francis Frasca, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Saturday May 22, 2015 in Springdale. Louis Francis Frasca was born in Braidwood, Ill. on May 27, 1916 to Charles and Victoria Menietti Frasca. He served in Europe during World War II in the 95th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army and returned to complete his studies, receiving his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music from DePaul University in Chicago. He taught orchestral music in Joliet, Ill. and at Lane Technical High School in Chicago, Ill. before retiring to Fayetteville where he taught music in the Fayetteville Public Schools and played violin in the Northwest Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. He was a member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Fayetteville. He is survived by his wife Antoinette (Nettie) Frasca and their daughter and son-in-law, Louise and Ian Anderson of Norwalk, Conn. Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Fayetteville with burial to follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
