Kelly Buck Morgan

Kelly Joanne Buck Morgan of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 7, 1977 in Little Rock, the daughter of Tommy and Donna Jackson Buck. She attended East Union Missionary Baptist Church, and was an account executive for the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. She was an exceptionally proud Mom, a loving daughter, a loyal friend, and a remarkably talented artist. To say Kelly was an amazing lady is such an understatement. She lived more life in her 38 years, than most people twice her age. She was the brightest light in any room she entered. Her laugh was so contagious that everyone who encountered Kelly wanted to be a part of her world, and she was more than happy to invite them in. Kelly loved life and wanted everyone to feel special and to know that they mattered to her. Whoever coined the phrase "never met a stranger" must have known Kelly, because that describes her well. She could walk into a room of people she'd never seen before, and when Kelly left, she had new friends and they had a memory of her "larger than life" personality. Kelly had her own special, unique way of giving people hope so that even when things aren't perfect, there are always blessings that God has given us to smile about. Among those blessings for Kelly were her two sons, Auggie and Erms, the greatest kids in the world if you asked her (and even if you didn't ask, she'd tell you they were). Kelly was so ecstatic she had finally met the love of her life, Scott Holt, a year earlier and to whom she became engaged one week before the accident. It's impossible to know just how many lives Kelly touched, but we do know that her flame will burn bright forever, and she will live on in the hearts and minds of countless people. Kelly would tell you all to Live well, Laugh often, and Love much. Kelly died Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock from injuries sustained from an automobile accident on April 30, 2015. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Austin "Auggie" Morgan and Aaron "Erms" Morgan; fiancé, Scott Holt of Rogers; parents, Tommy and Donna Buck; sister, Amy Buck and nephew, Brandon Buck; grandmother, Juanita Jackson, all of Sheridan, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins (who were much more like brothers and sisters than cousins), co-workers and friends. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015 at East Union Missionary Baptist Church in the East End Community, with Bro. Larry Campbell and Bro. Paul Roberts officiating, with a special tribute to their mom by Austin and Aaron. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in the Ico Community. Visitation will be Wednesday night from 5-8 p.m. also at East Union Missionary Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Gary Larkin, Marc Whitley, Hollis Nutt, Bryan Nutt, Jason Tannehill, Brandon Buck, Tyler Campbell, Nick Whitley, Brody Larkin, Cole Turbeville, Tristan Hatley, Tom Tidwell, Mitch Musgrove. Memorial contributions may be made in Kelly's memory to the Austin and Aaron Morgan Education fund, C/0 Peoples Bank, P.O. Box 460, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150. Arrangements by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home of Sheridan (870) 942-1306. To sign the online guestbook, www.memorialgardenssheridan.com.
