Eddie Bradford Wear

Eddie Bradford "Brad" Wear, age 47, of Dardanelle, found eternal peace on Thursday, May 28, 2015. He was born August 16, 1967 to John and Rosalie Carter Wear. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Brad was a farmer and held the office of Yell County Judge from 2005 thru 2010. He was involved in the community serving on various boards of civic organizations. The Dardanelle Chamber of Commerce recognized him as the Citizen of the Year in 2010. Brad enjoyed hunting, fishing, and coaching his children's baseball and softball teams. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie Carter Wear; grandparents, Hugh and Earl Wear, Ed and Esther Carter; one aunt, Glenda Wear Taylor; one uncle, Larry Wayne Carter. Survivors include his wife, Sondra Griffin Wear; father, John Wear In-laws, Bob and Peggy Griffin; two children, Jonathan Wear and Hallie Wear; two sisters, Johnna (Bobby) Duncan, Jennifer (Tim) Golman; Brother in Law, Gary (Shannon) Griffin; and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Dardanelle First United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at Cornwell Funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brad Wear Memorial Fund at the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 188, Dardanelle, Arkansas 72834.
