Nancy Carol Cox

Nancy Carol Cox, born February 14, 1964, was a child of God that was an angel in life and more so in death. She had a beautiful voice and loved singing in the church choir and karaoke. Nancy never met a stranger and loved all animals, she had a kindness and gentle spirit. Nancy's kindness is a beautiful gift from God and all that encountered her felt her compassion for others. She volunteered weekly at the First United Methodist Church because of her love for the Lord. She was preceded in death by her mother Nancy Nell Cox. She is survived by her father Ross C. Cox, her sister Kathy Cox, nephews, Phillip Pemberton, Mark Pemberton, one brother, Ross Cox III, Jamie Cox, Jack McCoy, numerous aunts and cousins. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in Sherwood.
