Bob Lancaster, 87, of Russellville, died Thursday, November 19, 2015. He was born August 13, 1928, in Houston, Arkansas, to Albert and Maudie Jones Lancaster. He was a retired salesman from AFCO Metals. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, a 32nd degree Mason and was a member of the Iron Springs Lodge # 342 in Little Rock and the Russellville Lodge # 274. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Russellville, and the Gaines Street Baptist Church and Geyer Springs Baptist Church, both in Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Darrell Lancaster and Jerrel Lancaster; a sister, Imogene Nolls; and his mother-in-law, Irene Davis. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Mary Ann Lancaster; a son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Denise Lancaster of Camden; a daughter and son-in-law, Becky and David Bauman of Russellville; a brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Barbara Lancaster of Clarksville; a sister and brother-in-law, Deloris and Coy Charping of Killeen, Texas; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at First Baptist Church. Burial will be private and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, from 6-7 p.m., at the funeral home.
