Lila Faye Madsen, 67, of Cabot, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015. She was born in Helena, Arkansas on July 11, 1948, to the late James Henry Blackburn, and Johnnie Lavelle Boyd Blackburn, along with her twin sister, Sharon Taylor of Sherwood. Lila enjoyed chatting with friends and relatives on social media, traveling, cruises, and was an avid reader. Her father's family built the War Eagle Mill in Northwest Arkansas. Lila was proud of her family history, and her Irish heritage. She worked for the Pine Bluff Police Department for a number of years, before joining the 11th Judicial District's Prosecuting Attorney's Office. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and she loved her numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Lila is survived by her husband of thirty five years, Richard E. Madsen; twin sister, Sharon Taylor of Sherwood; daughters, Gail Lynn Pearson of Dallas, Texas; and Teresa Leigh Barber of Conway; stepchildren, Ricky Madsen of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Michelle Suksi of Strawberry, Arizona; sister, Vicki Callahan, and brother, Larry Blackburn, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and numerous grandchildren. Graveside service will be Saturday, November 28, 2015, 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
