Joe David Williams

Joe David Williams, 56, of Russellville, Ark., died unexpectedly in his home on Oct. 8, 2015 due to a heart attack. He was born Sept. 3, 1959 in Little Rock, Ark. to Roy E. and Shirley A. Williams of East End, Ark. Joe graduated from Sheridan High School in 1977, attended College of the Ozarks then began his career with Entergy from which he retired in January 2015. After working the last 8 years in New Orleans he recently moved back to Russellville to be near his children and grandchildren. He was survived by daughter, Mica Jo Williams and granddaughters, NaChole, Lilly and Cory, daughter, Rachel Leigh Williams and granddaughter, Violet, son, Jacob Daniel Williams and grandsons, Thane and Leland. Joe was also survived by his parents, Buddy and Shirley, brothers Bud, Mike, Dennis and Paul, sister, Jeannie and a host of nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Virginia Williams and Theo and Mae Mann, infant sister Phyliss Ann Williams, Aunt Barbara Haynes, Aunt Sylvia Ray, cousins, Lisa Haynes and John Perry Mangrum. A memorial observance will be held at Salem Cemetery in East End, Arkansas on Sunday, Oct. 18 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a bar-b-que cookout with friends and family at his childhood home in East End at 21815 Jonita Dr., Little Rock, Ark.
