Evalyn Josephine Blake Biggs

Evalyn Josephine "Eva Jo" Blake Biggs passed away on Oct. 7, 2015 at Walnut Place in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Biggs was born in Plainview, Ark. on June 1, 1926. She graduated from Arkansas Tech with honors and was a retired school teacher. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ashdown. She is preceded in death by her husband, Randolph "Doc" Biggs. She is survived by her two daughters, Rebecca Jane Biggs of Ashdown, Ark. and Jo Ann Biggs of Dallas, Texas, and by numerous nieces and nephews. She lived at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Ashdown for several years prior to moving to Dallas in May 2015. She considered all the staff at Pleasant Manor as her extended family. Visitation will be Friday Oct. 9, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown, Ark. Graveside Services will be Friday Oct. 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Ashdown Cemetery in Ashdown, Ark. with Jim Cross Officiating. Services are under the direction of Madden Funeral Home.
