Doris Timken Chase, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, returned to our heavenly Father's arms on August 31, 2015, at Greystone Nursing Home, Cabot, Ark. Doris was born May 25, 1922, in Bezine, Kansas. She grew up in Denton, Texas and graduated from Texas Women's College. She loved her children and grandchildren, music, reading, flower gardening, bridge, drawing, and her pets. She did volunteer work and was a staunch Republican. She lived in Hot Springs many years and was the manager of The Colony Shop. She was married to Dr. Jack King. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Franklin Timken and Gretta Roach Timken, her brother, Dr. Kenneth Timken (Maurene), and sisters, Mona Gow (Don), Peggy Cassidy (Robert), and her half-brother, Pete Timken (Mary). Doris is survived by her four children, Dr. Anna Ouverson (Richard), A'isha Suzanne Chauhan (Mufiz), Jack King (Karen), and Kenneth King (Diane); step-daughters, Dr. Jacqueline Power and Mary Elizabeth King, 8 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog Ben. Family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, with graveside service to follow at 1 p.m. at Cutter-Morning Star Cemetery, Hot Springs, Ark.
