Rita Kathryn Waid

Rita Kathryn Waid, 68, of Greenbrier Arkansas died Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Conway Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Waid was born April 1, 1947, in Little Rock to the late Fred and Myrtle Porter. She was a homemaker and seamstress. She was long standing member of Fairview Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed being outside, hunting, fishing, reading and most of all playing with her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Waid, in 2001 and her brother Tommy Porter, in 2012. Survivors include one sister, Shirley Bias; Two daughters, Tracey Greenwood and Tammy Waid; Two sons and daughter in law, Billy and Christy Waid, and Roger Waid; One that she thought of as a son, Roy Sanchez; 11 grandchildren, Nick, Chris, Hannah, Peyton, Ty, Isaiah, Isaac, Shelby, Alexis, Audry and Mackenzie. Visitation is Tuesday September 1, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be Wednesday September 2, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church 5420 W35th St. in Little Rock with Bro Don Lutrick officiating.
