Thomas Ancil and Betty Jean Wiles of Greenbrier, Ark. passed away peacefully August 29 &30, 2015 from the arms of their loving family into the loving arms of their LORD. Ancil was born January 27, 1929 to Owen and Eva Wiles in Zion, Ark. Betty was born January 25, 1930 to Jude and Stella Mankin in Lunenburg, Ark Ancil was in the Army and served in the Korean War where he was awarded 3 bronze stars. He enjoyed doing wood work and gardening. Betty was a self-taught painter and enjoyed crafts and quilting. They both loved spending time with family and were doting grandparents. They were survived by a son, Stephen (Deanna) Wiles of Conway, two daughters; Beverly Cooper of Russellville, and Donna (Randy) Griffin of North Little Rock; four grandchildren; Kristen McGill, Ellen Westerman, Kent Wiles, Anna Beth Dickson; four great grandchildren; and his sister Marie Byram of Conway and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family. They are preceded in death by their parents and a son, Jim Wiles. Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 2nd at 10 a.m. at Springhill Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. with burial at Violet Hill Cemetery in Izard County. Donations can be made to AR Hospice or Springhill Baptist Church in Greenbrier.
