Thomas L. Rogers

Thomas "Tommy" L. Rogers, 82, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord August 28, 2015. He was born January 16, 1933 to Cargile and Lola Rogers in Stephens, Arkansas. Tommy was a wonderful husband and father. He was known as a generous and loving man who treated everyone with respect. Tommy retired from a dual military career serving in both the United States Navy and United States Air Force. After retirement, Tommy served the citizens of Cleburne County as a deputy with the Cleburne County Sheriff's Department. He was preceded in death by his parents. Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joyce Eileen Rogers; two daughters: Tonya Fox and Susan G. Rogers; three sisters: Jane Adams, Mildred McKamie, and Betty Lou Bagwell; two brothers: Bill Wilkie and Darel Wilkie; and numerous extended family members and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff of Arkansas Hospice, but especially to Tammy, Cathy, and Elisha. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tommy's honor to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116.
