Betty Jean Reed

Betty Jean Reed, 87, of Alexander, Arkansas, born March 16, 1928, died Monday, September 14, 2015. Preceded in death by her parents; nine brothers; three sisters and her daughter, Betty Sue Corder. Survived by her son, William "Bud" Lester; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren with a host of nieces and nephews, along with two sisters and husbands and one brother. She was "Mammy" to everybody and was famous for her cooking and delicious fried pies. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2015 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800 with Reverend Sid Samples officiating.
