Ethel Coffey (affectionately known as Coffey) born, May 30, 1920, passed away quietly at home on April 9, 2016. Mother Coffey, a long-time resident of Arkansas and Indiana, settled in Atlanta, Georgia about 2003. She lived a very quiet life, serving her Lord, enjoying her family and making more than 100 quilts for friends and family. She is predeceased by parents, husbands, two children, two sisters. Survived by daughter, Mary L. LaBroi; and son, Leonard Coffey of Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Mitchell Roberts of Mississippi; grandchildren, Steven LaBroi of Washington, DC, James Gaston II, Erodney Coffey, Lalita Green (Robert), Delores Bryant (Kenneth), Donya Burnett, Tulonda Coffey, LaKisha Coffey Thornton, Darryl Coffey all of Arkansas, Sheila Terry-Patterson, Kenneth Harper, Kosi and Akil of Gary, Ind.; a special cousin, Alma Cash and a host of other relatives, friends and church family. Funeral services April 23, 2016, 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church McAlmont, North Little Rock, Ark. Visitation: Friday, April 22, 2016, Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 South Chester St. Little Rock, Ark. (501) 372-1305. A memorial service will be hosted by Fountain of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Atlanta, Georgia later.
