Jimmie Don Stephens

Jimmie Don Stephens, 75, of Saint Paul, Arkansas, died April 16, 2016 at Countryside Assisted Living in Huntsville, Arkansas. He was born November 13, 1940 at Saint Paul, Arkansas, the son of Alva James and Robbie Callaway Stephens. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas, a retired electrical engineer for Standard Register Company, an agent for Farmers Mutual Insurance Company of Gentry since 1978 and a United States Army veteran. He attended Saint Paul Bible Church and was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jane Oldridge Stephens and one stepson, Phillip Darren Gulledge. Survivors include: his wife, Wanda Mae Simmons Stephens of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Melissa Stephens of Lowell, Arkansas and Clay and Paige Stephens of Saint Paul, Arkansas; one stepson and stepdaughter-in-law., Roger and Cindy Gulledge of Frisco, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Bud Gulledge of Crosses, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 22, at the Saint Paul Bible Church with The Reverend Sam Judd officiating.
