Dewey Edgar "Bud" Pettit

Dewey Edgar "Bud" Pettit, 88, of England, Arkansas passed away April 25, 2016 to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born March 31, 1928, to Edgar and Florence Pettit in England, Arkansas. Bud was a soft spoken man and a man of his word. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed. All who knew him will remember his smile and laugh. As one doctor wrote recently on his chart at the V. A. "A lovable old man." He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanie Pettit, sisters: Gladys and Geraldine and a brother: Bill. Also, preceded in death by Jane, the mother of his children. He is survived by his sister: Alice and brother: Dickey. He is survived by children Gary Pettit (Sandra), Larry Pettit, Mary Jane McKnight and Alice Carnell (Rocky). He is survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and a very special cat "Little Man." Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Roller-England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939, 202 Stuttgart Hwy., England, Arkansas, 72046. Funeral service will be officiated by Bro.
